About BCMM

The BCMM (Beroepsvereniging Componisten Multimedia) is dedicated to supporting all Dutch media composers. BCMM advocates for the interests of media composers in many areas, including politics and within BumaStemra. Members also benefit from legal support, engaging events, and many other advantages.

The core mission of BCMM is to represent the interests of all Dutch media composers. To effectively advocate for composers’ rights in the area of copyright, BCMM has representatives at BumaStemra, including on the Supervisory Board, the Rights Holders Council, and at Buma Cultuur. In the Netherlands, BCMM also works in consultation with organizations such as the Creatieve Coalitie, Sena, and Platform Makers. On the European level, BCMM regularly engages with the European Composer and Songwriter Alliance (ECSA).
