Alex Simu

Alex Simu is a composer, clarinetist, and teacher whose music accompanies numerous international documentaries and feature films, including Beyond Sleep, Disappearance, Close to Vermeer, and Neshoma. His score for Beyond Sleep received the Golden Calf for Best Music at the Netherlands Film Festival. Simu is also a four-time Buma Award winner for Best Original Composition for film and documentary scores. With more than thirty screen credits, his work is recognized for its lyrical depth and distinctive voice within contemporary European cinema.
